Bukit Tabur aka Klang Gates (20th Sep 2008)

Infinity Milers~~ Once again we organized an orientation climb up the traditional IM bukit - KLANG GATES.

Up and ready even before the sun rises and the chickens start going wild, we gathered in front of IMU. About 4.30a.m. we had a small briefing and headcount. All set and ready, we departed for Tmn Melawati. So cool ( I mean the whole procession, the long row of cars)~ pity I forgot the camera XD.

At the foot of the hill...parked the cars, warmed up, geared up, teamed up, we set out for the 1st peak. LOL SG ppl actually come all the way here to see sun rise~ how cool is tht man!?!?! They set out 1st, we followed behind.

The usual cries rang up " WHTS THE HOLD UP???....GO GO GO!!!!....GO FASTER OR U"LL MISS THE SUNRISE......KEEP MOVING U MULES!!!(this one is just for fun XD)". As usual the juniors happily forgot to bring torch light, not to say head torch. Luckily we were all ready for this and prepared extra. Our boss Ray Mun used his night vision eyes~ cool eh~~

We reached few minutes before the sun rise. The view was spectacular. For the 3rd time, I've seen this view, 've never grown bored of it. With the breeze and the all, this is the kind of peace far beyond anyone can hope for. Cam-whore session ensued in a jiffy, together with brisk breakfast. We moved out soon enough to finish our expedition.

A climb of hardship and friendship fostered.

Frankly, everyone conquered Klang Gate quite well. The rope part, the rock climbing part, the IM song session(compulsory la oi~~), the down hill.....

After the coming out of the bukit~, we had a small debrief. Everyone shared their experience and thoughts about the climb. Then another tradition, Steven's corner~ most had a heavy meal to compensate for the climb XD~

天下没有不散的宴席 or so the saying goes~ we said our gdbyes and happily went home(finally can sleep ady a~ having a climb right after IMU cup finale night = more than 24 hrs not sleeping.....hats off to everyone tht survived this climb)
